Get Trained to Register New Voters: A League of Women Voters Event Sunday, December 3 | 10:00 a.m.

Please join Valerie Morishige of the League of Women Voters and Temple member Idelle Davidson to learn how to participate in voter registration drives. You will be taught the nuts and bolts of helping people register to vote. Then, if you wish, you may join Temple Isaiah's voter registration team. We have already reserved a voter registration table at the Walk to End Genocide (Jewish World Watch) in April and will need several volunteers. Other drives are in the works. Everyone deserves a voice. Let’s get out the vote!

Valerie Morishige is Chair of the Voter Service Committee with the League of Women Voters of Greater Los Angeles. She brings lessons learned from registering thousands of voters while working in the Community Outreach department at the LA County Registrar Recorder-County Clerk's Office and volunteering with over 30 civic engagement organizations.

Idelle Davidson has led multiple voter registration drives with other Isaians at high schools and community events. For those who already know how to register voters, please come anyway. Share your experiences and learn the latest tips and rules.
