Marlene Dekel (Grade 1) is married to an Israeli and has three children. During the week Marlene is as an assistant teacher in both general and Judaic studies at a private day school. She attended U.C.L.A. and Tel-Aviv University. Marlene is looking forward to spending Sunday mornings with your children, sharing ideas, stories, songs, arts and crafts, and having a wonderful time together.

Theresa Fives (Grade 1) is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.A. in Linguistics. She is currently attending Santa Monica College to get her early childhood teaching certificate. She has taught preschool at Temple Isaiah for 3 years, and this will be her first year teaching religious school. She is especially excited to be teaching religious school after converting to Judaism this past spring. When she is not teaching, she loves to read, play board games, and do arts and crafts.
