Jewish music is a vital and viable force in synagogue life. Our prayers are sung, our blessings are chanted and even the Torah and Haftarah are read publicly with special melody.
We have a great tradition of Jewish music: ancient middle-eastern melodies, eastern European tunes, Israeli songs and American folk inspired favorites form a great musical palette.
In addition, the sounds, melodies and chants heard in our synagogue change to reflect the various seasons and holidays throughout the Jewish calendar.
Please listen to music from our Shabbat service. These selections are taken from Cantor Kent's "Songs of Shabbat" CD. You may choose either
