Parent’s Choice Award-winning Jewish kiddie-rock sensation ShirLaLa joins our Isaiah Community for an interactive and engaging Shabbat experience. Blending words, story, and song, Shira will create a rich experience for children and adults alike to celebrate the gift of Shabbat.

Shabbat Shira and Tu B'Shevat: Join us for the Shabbat of Song, an evening celebrating music and community, with HaSharim our Isaiah Adult Choir. We will welcome the Adult choir and clergy at Beth Chayim Chadashim for an evening celebrating 220 years of Reform Jewish music and history. Dinner following services.

MOHAMMED AL SAMAWI: A REFUGEES’ MEMOIR OF COMING TO AMERICA

Following services, we are honored to welcome Mohammed Al Samawi, best-selling author of The Fox Hunt: A Memoir of Yemen and My Odyssey to America.  Mohammed will share his extraordinary story of coming to America. Together, with Joe Goldman from HIAS, we will explore the concepts of borders, boundaries, and opportunities.
