Big Sunday

BIG SUNDAY 2014

Big Sunday is the largest regional community service event in America. It's time for community building - when volunteers of every age and from every walk of life - work together to help others.

Big Sunday is driven by the belief that everyone has something to give - no matter who you are, what you do, how much you have, where you live or what ethnicity or religion you happen to be.

The bottom line is that everyone has some way they can help someone else. And when everyone helps, everyone wins.

SUNDAY | MAY 18 | 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. | LACES & UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL

This year, Temple Isaiah will help two of our community schools with campus improvement and beautification, including interior and exterior painting, planting and weeding, and general classroom and campus clean-up. LACES will also host an e-waste recycling drive and will collect blankets and towels for donation to an animal shelter. To help plan either of these events, please contact Martha Cohen at cohenapple@aol.com. Otherwise you can sign up to volunteer for either project at www.bigsunday.org, beginning April 18 (more details to come.)

Can't make it to Big Sunday at LACES or University High School on May 18? Stay tuned for additional opportunities soon!
