Temple Isaiah's

Family Camp

Spend a sacred, special Shabbat weekend at camp with your family & Temple Isaiah community!

Family Camp is BACK and better than ever! We are thrilled to invite Temple Isaiah families with kids 0-8 years old to join us at gorgeous Camp Alonim in Simi Valley January 26-28, 2024. Gather ‘round the campfire, celebrate Shabbat camp-style, soak up the sweetness of nature together, enjoy family time + adults-only & kids-only activities and (best of all) form lifelong connections with fellow Isaians! Nothing could be better than spending a full Shabbat together with our Temple community. We’ll see you at Camp Alonim!

Activities:

  • Low Ropes
  • Hiking
  • Meditation/Sound Bath
  • Israeli Dancing
  • Drum Stations
  • Torah Learning
  • Sports
  • Gaga
  • Yoga
  • Fancy Art Projects
  • S’mores

At Family Camp, Temple Isaiah’s full clergy team, excluding Rabbi Dara on sabbatical, will be actively involved. Educators Carla Kopf and Avital Etehad, along with Program Coordinator Jacob Neuman, are planning and participating in the weekend. Families can choose between cottage or bunk-style sleeping arrangements, and the camp’s Kosher kitchen offers delicious, elevated cuisine compared to traditional camp fare. Additionally, child care will be provided on Saturday night, allowing parents to enjoy the evening activities worry-free.
Families will need to arrive by 6:00pm on Friday January 26 and there is a hard checkout at 11am on Sunday January 28.
